In 1970 Anton van der Post began running seminars on Interpersonal Skills and Motivation, and was instrumental in pioneering the training industry in South Africa.  Then in 1983, after spending some time in the United States, he developed and started running our Effective Speaking programme.  In 2004 Gavin Lund joined Anton, and spent two years understudying, where after he began running the courses along with Anton.  What makes us unique and separates us from what is offered by other companies, is that our courses are simple and practical while being humorous and entertaining at the same time - with participants learning skills as they work through the seminars, absorbing useable, common-sense information which they can put into practice immediately.

When a team is under pressure and stress, communication breaks down and all sorts of perceptions are created in that state of tiredness and frustration.  This can also be the case in a new team where perceptions again can prevent a team from pulling together and where relationships need to be built.  Breaking through these perceptions to open up this communication in a non-threatening way allows the team to gel together again as a unit.  This lays a powerful platform for re-energizing and re-motivating each individual in the team.
